As students approach sixth form, it is important that they have all the information they need to make the right decision about what to study. Of course, we don’t expect them to make this decision on their own; we are happy to meet and talk about options available to them.
There are many different ways to study, we call these pathways. The pathway will determine the type of qualification students will get and the number of subjects they will study.
Students in Year 12 who achieve the entry requirements for their chosen subjects but fail to achieve either their maths or English GCSE have the opportunity to re-sit these qualifications within the main school timetable. The class sizes are often small and students receive excellent tuition from experienced staff.
